The plum blossom, ranked first among China's Ten Most Famous Flowers, originated in southern China and has been cultivated for more than 3,000 years. Blooming in the depths of winter, the red plum blossom symbolizes resilience, perseverance, and an unwavering spirit in the face of adversity.
The poem on the print reads:
"Without enduring the bitter cold, how can the plum blossom yield its exquisite fragrance?"

Who We Are
My artistic practice is rooted in the traditions of Chinese calligraphy, ink painting, and seal carving—three interconnected art forms that embody centuries of Chinese philosophy, aesthetics, and cultural memory. While honoring these traditions, I strive to present them in ways that are meaningful and accessible to contemporary audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds.
To me, the brush is more than a tool for creating images or writing characters; it is a means of expressing harmony, balance, mindfulness, and respect for nature. Every stroke reflects the artist’s character, discipline, and emotional state. Through ink, paper, and carved seals, I seek to preserve cultural heritage while encouraging dialogue across cultures and times.
